Poem # 63

sail

anchors weighed, sails raised

hope filled and

heaven bound

though tied here still

to earthly bounds

like Happiness anchored

secure in your ocean

of acceptance and love

her masts tall

her flags are flown

ready to set sail

upon the sea of tranquility

no greater adventure

can we embark, together

toward distant shores

where love’s winds

will lift us up

on life’s currents

leaving old ports

far behind

He said, "Why should I tarry?"

And smiled with tranquil eye;

"In destinies sad or merry,

True men can but try."

Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
