judgement

. . . and in the

hour of reckoning,

the cries of

the cold hearted –

their own ears

shut to the pleas

of reconciliation and

of forgiveness

of others –

will fall upon

deaf Ears;

as a pebble

cast in vain

into the sea,

so will the lamentations

of the hypocrite

suffer the fate

they themselves deal

during their flickering moment

upon this fragile earth

Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
