No Answers exist the day we’re born
No paths are clear in desert storms
No signs or sigils show the way
No beacon to warn of rocky bays
No guide we have to show the path
No surety ‘gainst the aftermath
No radar illums the black of night
No compass that draws toward Northern lights
No light that cracks through cloudy skies
Or trails to track our tragic lives
Yet on this path I tread today
With no guarantees to light my way
I choose to live, to take the chance
That what we’ve found is true romance
A passion that burns like stars so bright
And leads our souls to soul’s delight
I can’t let go though slim the hope
My God, I curse this fated slope
For where it leads we cannot say
But chance I’ll take, I’ll
chance the day
That when I leave it all behind
The risk is worth rewards we’ll find
For none have touched my heart so dear
Your sweet soul wrapped in sorrow and tears
You see, I know what pain is too
I grapple and fight with grief and gloom
And still we cling against all odds
My silent prayer to man and gods
If folly it is to grasp at hope
Still grasp I will, cling to this rope
To live my life with you fulfills
Shakespearean dreams and fairy tales
This song I write, 1-N, for you
Believe some day and risk it too
For shed we sorrow but for one day
That day would last ‘til eternity.
