Poem #70

My Sun and My Moon

You

are my

sun and my

moon and the stars

in my life, you warm me

by day and guide me by night;

You’re the North on my compass, the

sextant of my soul, the gyroscope of my mind,

my divining rod of pure gold.

Fly if you

must, I have

no regrets,

forever I’ll

know that

your soul I

knew best;

wait here I

shall for all

eternity; no

soulmate I’ll

know but

you, my

sweet J

 He said, "Why should I tarry?"

And smiled with tranquil eye;
